Meal List

If you are like me and make dinner from scratch every night, then you know there are some times when you: 1 - Are not sure what to cook, or 2 - Feel like you make the same few meals over and over again!

What to do, what to do!!!! Make a meal list! I have been meal planning for a while now and I always go to my meal list for inspiration (or motivation)!

What is a meal list? Simply, it's the meals YOU cook! The ones that you don't need a recipe for, or that you can whip up mid week. It's a list of ALL the meals that YOUR family knows and loves!

Why make a meal list? When you meal plan you have the opportunity to have varied, healthy meals, and by having a meal list you have more options and reminders of what you can cook and how to switch things up at meals times.

Before I show you my meal list, if you need help meal planning (meal planning has cut my grocery bill down considerably) then click here or if you want to know when I meal plan then click here.

  1. Having a meal list is an excellent idea; loved reading through yours. It reminded me of some of the things we used to make long ago and had since forgotten about. We make the majority of our meals from scratch too. One thing we quite often do, is buy a much larger cut of meat than is necessary for one meal for the two of us. If it's a roast of some kind, it's roast dinner for the first meal, then the left overs are often enough to make two or three different and delicious types of meals. Works our to be very economical.
