Our First Turnip!
Yippee!!!! Our first turnip is ready to pick!
Now we have more room in our garden, and really good soil to plant in, we are planting things that we haven't planted before! Turnips being one of them! And after only 8 weeks we are picking the first of our root vegetables (and my goodness the roots are long on these things!)
I'm roasting it with olive oil and salt tonight - to go along with our roast chicken dinner!
