DIY Bird Feeder

This is a great activity for children in the school holidays! Making homemade bird feeders is a great way to get the kids away from the TV and outside learning about the world around them. They could even draw the birds that come to eat!

These are so simple to make!

First get a toilet roll or two and tie a string/wool throug the middle :

Cover them in peanut butter :

Then cover them in bird seed or chicken food, or any pumpkin, flax seeds etc that you might have in your pantry, and hang them in a tree :
