Fruit Purée Jelly Lollies



Who's kids don't love jelly lollies! Ours are no exception. But having a child who has allergies to artificial colours and preservatives I have decided to make my own healthy jellies! I found the strawberry jellies recipe at whatsupmoms. And guess what.... the children LOVE them :)

Ingredients:

3/4 cup of either apple or strawberry purée
1/4 cup of water
1.5 tablespoons of honey
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
2.5 tablespoons of unflavoured gelatine

Method:

Purée your fruit in a food processor.

Add water and mix again till smooth. 

Add fruit and water mix, with honey, lemon and gelatine in a saucepan, place on a low heat and mix until gelatine has dissolved.

Pour into silicone moulds, or ice trays, or even into a cake tray (and cut into squares once set).

Put in the fridge for half an hour (or until set).
